Peer Reviews of First Cut Movie Opener 1. First Cut- Betrayed Shadows For this film, I felt like the acting was very good and that I greatly appreciated the camerawork. I felt there was a wide variety of shots from close up shots to establishing shots, which really helped me get to know the characters and the setting. It did seem like a true movie opener and made me want to know what happened next as in this film, a hooded male suddenly grabs a female and then the camera shakes before the film's end. I would want to know if he is able to successfully kidnap her or if she can defend herself from him. A critique I have is that I had difficulty hearing due to the background noise in the outdoor area they were filming. 2.
