Moodboard Blogpost
1. My first moodboard was of a haunted house on Halloween. We first see a ghost, which is meant to show that the house is haunted as a scary spirit is present. Secondly, we see the characters, who are horrified as they have entered the haunted house and seen the spirit (ghost). The third image, which is of the carved pumpkin, is meant to show that this scene takes place on Halloween. The fourth and fifth images of the bats and gravestones are meant to show the presence of bats, which cause rabies, hence the many gravestones as the bats have bitten many people and caused them to die of rabies. The dark lighting of all five of the pictures also shows the dark, grim, and dangerous nature of the haunted house setting.

2. My second moodboard is of a school. The first shot is meant to show the exterior of the school the main character goes to, and also shows she comes from a privileged background due to the size of the school. The second shot shows our main character, which is a girl asleep on top of her books in the middle of studying. It is an overhead shot and is meant to show her exhaustion and how hard she pushes herself towards academic perfection. The third shot is of a test paper with "100/100" on it, which is meant to show the main character gets good grades, is academically very bright, and has pushed herself very hard to get them. The fourth shot is of the school cheerleading team and is meant to add complexity to our main character, as she is a part of the cheerleading team. This further emphasizes that she is a very hardworking individual because she is able to balance both school and the sport she is passionate about. My final shot is of her notes, which shows that she puts great efforts into studying.

3. My third moodboard was of a prison cell. The first two shots are flashback shots of the main character's life before he got incarcerated and lost his freedoms of spending time with his family and being at home. The third shot is a point of view shot of our main character. Showing mostly the locked prison door and his body being shown as tiny exposes his vulnerability and loss of his freedom. The fourth and fifth shots are meant to show the miserable atmosphere of the prison and are meant to contrast with the first two shots of the main character's life before he got incarcerated. The dark lighting of the shots is meant to show the main character's confinement, loss of autonomy, and how much he misses his life before he got incarcerated.

4. My fourth and final moodboard was of a wedding which took place in a chapel. My first two shots were meant to show what the chapel looks like from the interior and exterior. My first shot is a wide shot that especially shows how many seats there are to show that the chapel venue is huge and is capable of housing many guests. The third shot shows our two main characters, the bride and groom. Their faces look happy, which shows that they have looked forward to getting married for a while and are excited about the wedding. The fourth shot shows all the wedding guests inside the chapel, which shows both the bride and groom have many supportive friends and family members that are happy for them during this special day of their lives. The fifth shot is showing the reception area and all the delicious food. The food, chapel venue, and numerous guests all also point to this couple being financially wealthy. The bright lighting emphasizes the happiness and specialness of the main characters' wedding day.
