Challenges in Film/Filming Process
Our group has faced a variety of challenges in filming. On my end as the actress for mean-girl Priscilla Humphrey, I sometimes struggled with acting "natural". Some things I struggled with was looking at the camera while being filmed by our camerawoman (Talia Tenenbaum), memorizing my lines, not laughing when saying my lines or doing gestures such as blowing kiss faces into the mirror, and doing actions like taking out my school's computer on cue (a prop). Some challenges Michelle Nguyen (the actress for the humble and meek Lyra Stone) was memorizing her lines and being expressive. Some challenges Talia Tenenbaum faced as our camerawoman were trying to find a quiet place to film and trying to prevent her phone, the tool she filmed with, from shaking.
Everyone in my group is pulling their weight, as we allocated our tasks evenly, and we keep up communication when a group member isn't at school so they can adequately work from home. For the challenges our group is filming, we are filming over and over again until we get a perfect clip and to practice our skills (Michelle and I were practicing our acting skills) Talia was practicing filming without her hand shaking and finding good locations with minimal noise to film).
