Title Sequence Blogpost
1. Title of my group's film: "The Ivy Chase". We decided on the title "The Ivy Chase" because our final idea was to make our storyline about two girls who want to attend the Ivy League University Harvard, and we wanted to reflect this in our title.
2. Studio or Distribution Company Presents: "Cloudyday Films" Presents. The title was Michelle's idea, and we as a group all loved it. The title came about because as we as a group were brainstorming title ideas, Michelle thought of a cloud to fit the brainstorming analogy, hence the name Cloudyday Filsm.
3. Production Company: A "Chalkstick Pictures". The production company's name was also Michelle's idea, and we as a group all loved it. This production company name came about because Michelle wanted the production company's title to be something related to school, and chalksticks are an item often located in school settings.
4. Production Actors/ Starring Cast: Starring Yasmine Salem and Michelle Nguyen .
5. Music by: Pixabay.
6. Written by: Yasmine Salem, Talia Tenenbaum, Ariba Khan and Michelle Nguyen. We thought it would be best if every group member contributed to our script.
7. Produced by: Ariba Khan
8. Directed by: Talia Tenenbaum
9. Edited by: Ariba Khan
10. Story by: Yasmine Salem. The storyline was my idea, and it was partially based off of Rory Gilmore and Paris Geller's personalities and ambitions of attending an Ivy League university in "Gilmore Girls". In my story, there are two main characters, Priscilla Humphrey and Lyra Stone. They both want to attend Harvard University and are awaiting their results. Priscilla Humphrey's character is meant to be snobby and mean, so she often puts down Lyra. The film ends on a cliffhanger, where both characters receive their results and are shocked, but the audience doesn't know what results they got.
